Watashi Channel is a travel, gourmet and lifestyle web site.  I am a Japanese food journalist living in the San Francisco Bay Area, and through my articles, blog and photographs I would like to share my curiosity and unique view of point about the food of the world.  Join me as I travel and explore the foods around the Bay Area and the U.S., and occasionally Asia, Europe and my home country of Japan.

Watashi is the Japanese pronoun for “I,” and this site’s subtitle (Be Myself), is my philosophy for life as well.  From this perspective, I would like to share my world with you.

このサイトはフードジャーナリストの関根絵里が地元（サンフランシスコ）と世界の旅をしながら綴るジャーナルです。　世界の国の色々な文化、フード、人々に触れながら、私が感じた見た、感じたものの記録です。

このサイトのサブタイトルは「私らしく」です。「自由に、私らしく」は私の人生のテーマでもあります。女性一人が世界を旅しながらアメリカで生きるすべを描きます。　皆さんと少しでも共有できたら嬉しいです。
